01/12/10 - ILLEGIBLE RADIO ON REVERBNATION
Continuing in the success of spreading the power of it's broadcasts, Illegible Radio has created a listening profile on Reverbnation.com. Reverbnation, itself an online music community, hosts millions of musicians around the world in an approach that also caters to local communities as well. With chart-able statistics, the site offers valuable marketing information to it's members. "We already know people are listening," says Eric Blades, station manager "but we've wanted more specific information on that."
Illegible Radio has posted several selections from most of it's DJs and their programs in short, truncated samples - which was also appealing. "This way, people can hear a little hint of what happens here at all times of the day, night and week," continues Blades "and also hear a snippet of a show they haven't given a chance to."

01/07/10 - LATE NIGHT HOST STARS IN LOCAL FILM
Illegible Radio's own Tracey Dolinar, host of the station's weekday overnight show, has starred in a East Lansing, Michigan film production! Titled "Fare Chance", the short film began production in late 2008 and began being featured on the internet in September, 2009. Tracey stars in the main role as "Daniel" a character experiencing life in the face of personal loss. The film was directed by Eric Angell, Matt Ortlieb and Steen Wichmann as part of East Lansing's Root/Wild Productions. Click HERE to watch the film.

12/23/09 - SPECIAL ILLEGIBLE CHRISTMAS BROADCAST ANNOUNCED
In the spirit of The Season, Illegible Radio has put together a special broadcast featuring music and greetings from Illegible's artists and staff! "I wanted to bring a little cheer to our listeners, our fans and our supporters," says Eric Blades, producer and host of the program titled simply the 'Christmas Special' "It really turned out well."
Featuring commentary and well wishes from 12 of the members of The Illegible Community, the broadcast is a tour through Christmas Past with music from Illegible's own "Shelter In The Night" Christmas album - a special benefit work released in 2006 in conjunction with Lansing Michigan's Habitat For Humanity. The album will be played in it's entirety and weaved throughout stories and well wishes - BUT will only be available for TWO days. The broadcast will begin midnight 12/24 and continue through the next two days until midnight 12/25 - Christmas night.

11/14/09 - RADIO LAUNCH SHOW RELEASED
As a special treat to Illegible Radio's fans and others who support it, the radio station has decided to release a recording of the legendary release show that accompanied the the site launch in May, 2009. With hosting and commentary by Illegible Records artist Dennis Preston, the program features rare and special performances by some of the label's newest and decidedly eclectic artists. Rare appearances by Light's Reach, Extemporania, Celestial Mechanics and the premiere performance of Mark Waterman as well as others throughout the evening, herald the efforts of this unique community banding together to spread their sound and music.
